Study of the arts is essential to students' intellectual, social, physical, and emotional growth. The Sudbury Catholic District School Board strives for excellence not only through the creative delivery of the Arts curriculum but through the creation of a wealth of opportunities for students to experience art, music and theatre first hand. Field trips, school productions, instrumental music programs, special guest artists and unique educational resources offer immersion in the arts on both sides of the curtain.

The Sudbury Catholic District School Board has also incorporated a broad and dynamic arts-based educational program that brings new life to core subjects. Learning Through the Arts (LTTA) provides teachers with creative tools to engage all students in subjects like math, science, language, history and geography.

LTTA is designed around long term artist/teacher collaborations. Together, they customize strategies and activities which address the needs of their learning/teaching environment. Lessons are created that make learning core curriculum fun.
