Standardized tests developed by the Education Quality and Accountability Office (EQAO) are administered across the province in the latter half of each school year. Students are tested on Reading, Writing and Mathematics in Grades 3 & 6. Student achievement in mathematics is assessed in Grade 9, and a Literacy test follows in Grade 10. Test administration dates for the current year follow:
