| Local Union Assists St. David School Sports Program for Sixth Year |

Art Adams, Business Manager of Labourers International Union of North America Local 493 presented a cheque to Catherine Luoma, Treasurer of St. David's School Council, and school Principal Don Hopkins in the amount of $750. Local 493 has partnered with St. David School for the last 6 years in an attempt to assist the school and its students with the extra curricular sports program. Monies donated are used to enter school tournaments, outfit students with uniforms and purchase sports equipment. This recent donation brings the total contribution of Local 493 to the school to $3,250. |
