MY SUNFLOWER

This is a picture of a sunflower that I planted at Science North with my SK class from St. Christopher School. When I brought it home I watered it and I left it on the window sill. When it was big enough my dad, my mom and my brother helped by plant it in our vegetable garden.

In the summer I checked and checked how big it was growing. Now it is taller than me and as tall as my brother.

My daddy dug the sunflower out and put it in a pot. My mom brought it to school to show Mrs. Merla my teacher from SK. I said to her she could keep it now to show her class.

It felt good to plant it, take care of it and watch it grow. I am proud of my sunflower plant.
