St. Benedict Hosts the Bears Classic Elementary Basketball Tournament

February 5, 2007 - Over the weekend of January 19th and 20th, a 16 team boy’s tournament was hosted by St. Benedict School. The final game of the tournament saw defending champs Jesse Hamilton matched up againstt the St. Francis A squad. Although the Jaguars defeated the St. Francis Flames just 2 games before, the Flames were able to bounce back to win gold in the championship game.


The all-star selections from the tournament are as follows:

A big thank you goes out to Franco Rocca at St. Benedict Secondary School for all of his hard work in organizing this tournament. His time and efforts were greatly appreciated. As, well a thank you goes out to all of the teachers/coaches who give so much of their time to the students during practices and tournaments.
