Sudbury Catholic Board Elects New Chair and Vice Chair

December 19, 2012 - On Tuesday, December 18, the Board of Trustees for the Sudbury Catholic District School Board held their annual election for the positions of Chair of the Board and Vice Chair at their monthly board meeting. Jody Cameron, formerly the Vice Chair, has moved into the position of Chair, and trustee Michael Bellmore will serve as Vice Chair for the next year. Cameron has served as both Chair and Vice Chair in past years for the Sudbury Catholic board, and is looking forward to this upcoming year at the helm. “I would like to thank all the trustees for their support and I know that our team around the table has great experience and insight.” Cameron stated. “This next year will definitely bring with it some great challenges, however I believe that we will be able to work through these challenges and be stronger for it.” Vice Chair Bellmore, who has also served as Chair and Vice Chair in the past, also thanked his fellow trustees. “I am humbled and honoured to be chosen by my peers this evening to serve as Vice Chair of the Sudbury Catholic District School Board for the next year.”
