Sudbury Catholic Schools teacher Elissa Zuliani and her students at St. Raphael School have made the top 10 in a video contest open to thousands of entrants across Canada and the United States. We are extremely proud of them and hope you'll support their wonderful video by voting often between now and March 14th. Congratualations Elissa and students!
An invitation from Elissa to vote for her and her students:
As most of you know I am a teacher with the Sudbury Catholic District School Board and in 2013 I had the privilege of teaching a group of special needs children at St. Raphael School. I was presented with an opportunity to give back to this group of children through the UCT Gives Back video contest. I submitted a short video explaining that the grant would allow us to purchase a Smart Board. As we all know, technology is what drives our modern-day world and these kids would greatly benefit from the exposure to and the use of their very own classroom Smart Board. I am so excited to say that out of all the thousands of entries submitted across Canada and the United States that our video has been selected as a TOP 10 FINALIST!!!!!
I am asking that you spread the word far and wide and VOTE!!!! Voting started today and will end on March 14th. You do NOT need a Facebook account to vote, simply click on the link below and find my video “St. Raphael School” and VOTE!!!! We will need thousands of votes! Vote EVERY DAY! Make it count!
Know that I am forever indebted to these children for the simple fact that they have made me a better person. Know that this is such a special group of children and I am blessed and humbled to have been their teacher. Know that it would fill my heart with so much love if they could win!
