Regals Celebrate Grade 8 Day!

Black Ink rocks the house at Marymount Academy's Grade 8 Day

December 13, 2005 - More than 200 girls from ten of the Sudbury Catholic District School Board's elementary schools were given the opportunity to take part in Marymount Academy's Grade 8 Day Festivities recently.

The energetic and highly interactive performance, set in a talk
show theme, captured the enthusiasm of the young students. Lead by the Marymount band, Bad Ink, the entire assembly rocked, danced and cheered in a celebration of 'life at Marymount'.

Multimedia presentations, along with student interviews offered insights into the numerous clubs, activities and organizations at the school. Following the presentation, the students enjoyed a pizza lunch and had the opportunity to speak with a number of secondary school teachers. The day was a huge success with all students leaving with a greater appreciation of the amazing and unique environment of Marymount Academy.
