Jonathon Lajambe accepts his pancakes from Mme. Lariviere with great anticipation.

March 3, 2006 - Tuesday, February 28 saw Immaculate Conception School's 300 students take part in a pancake breakfast in celebration of Shrove Tuesday. A great team of parent volunteers managed to cook up and serve the pancakes. Thanks to Immaculate Conception teachers Mrs. Hayden, Mrs. Marcil and Mme Lariviere for organizing this great event.

Students and staff celebrated Ash Wednesday the following day. Deacon Jenkinson from St. Kevin's Parish presided over the service and distributed ashes along with teachers Mrs. Lachapelle and Mrs. Rychlo. Thanks to Mrs. Rychlo and the Gr. 3-4 F.I. class for organizing this event.
