Above the clouds, a thousand metres high, there is a great battle...
but for us, it's just a big game!

Fighters: Fog of War is a turn based strategy board game for those of
us who enjoy creaming their opponents rather than just beating them!

The game is played on a big, chess like board of 225 squares each 5x5 cm. Players "fly"
their personal vehicles around, trying to blow up all others opposing them.

This is an example of a Fighters: Fog of War game map. The legend is below...

      • Storm cloud- (L,3)- You may travel through this, but at a cost of one HP per
              square flown through.
      • Single lightning bolt- (E,11)- Just a miniature version of the storm cloud.
      • Fog cloud- (N,12)- Flying through this will decrease your maximum travelling

      • range by three (instead of one, for moving there) for that turn.
      • Item shop- (I,14)- End your turn there (dock) to purchase items. Items are

      • explained in Weapons and Engines section.

When designing your own game map, be sure to include the following: 225 squares, unless you only want a small map of either 100 (10x10) squares, or 25 (5x5) squares. You have the choice of putting start locations (where your vehicles are placed at the beginning of the game), or letting people place their vehicles anywhere. Every gameboard should have some obstacles in it. It doesn't have to, but it makes the game more fun. The obstacles are: Storm clouds (minus one HP)- 6 squares, Lightning
bolts (minus one HP)- 1 square, Fog clouds (minus 3 total distance 1 turn)- N/A, Rain clouds (minus 1 defense 1 turn)- 6 squares, Cloud cover (cannot be attacked while inside)- N/A, Warp gate (transported to second Warp gate; only 2 allowed on board)-1 square.
