June
St. Paul School's video for the troops in Afghanistan.
Well,
Summer is finally upon us and I am sure we are all looking forward
to the break. June is always particularly hectic for everyone,
but make sure you take the time to enjoy the great weather.
The
month of June is dedicated to The Sacred
Heart of Jesus. The entire month falls within the liturgical
season of Ordinary
Time, which is represented by the liturgical color green.
This symbol of hope is the color of the sprouting seed and arouses
in the faithful the hope of reaping the eternal harvest of heaven,
especially the hope of a glorious resurrection.
Thank
you... A
special thanks goes out to Tammy Lanci and her Junior ECI class
of St. James School. Together we produced a terrific short film
entitled "The Girls of the Round Table". In the movie,
the girls learn to adapt the ancient code of Chivalry to bring
peace to their school.
I also had the pleasure of seeing the "Guys and Dolls"
musical put on by the talented students of St. Charles College.
I was simply amazed by their talent and energy. A big congratulations
goes out to Stephanie Van Drunen, Mike Dagostino and all of
the staff and students involved for putting on such a thoroughly
enjoyable production.
