CREATING
WEB PAGES WITH NETSCAPE COMPOSER
WORKING WITH TABLES - 15 - 20 minutes
Tables help with the layout, organization
and look of a Web page. Many Web pages incorporate nested tables, that
is, tables within tables. Suring this tutorial, steps for you to follow
will always be in red. Let's get started.
1. Below are some typical examples of the use of tables:

| Name | Gender | Age | School | Birthday |
| John | Male | 14 | St. Benedict | 12/2/87 |
| Mary | Female | 14 | Marymount | 01/21/87 |
| Jack | Male | 15 | St. Charles | 01/09/86 |
| Sue | Female | 16 | Marymount | 29/04/85 |
As we can see, tables have a lot to do
with organizing text and/or images. Go to one
or more of the Web sites below and click on 'File'
and 'Edit page'
in the top menu bar (Netscape Communicator of course), and when the page
opens in Composer, check out the way tables are used to organize the site
content.
