1. For your final assessment on this course, choose one of the following themes for the creation of a 3 or more page (mini) Web site:
a) A Simple WebQuest
A WebQuest is essentially an inquiry-oriented online activity or lesson.

b) Curriculum pages (course, resource or assignment pages)
Curriculum pages assist in teaching content-specific expectations, and can contain a variety of information, instructions and links to selected Web sites.

c) Class pages or site
Class pages usually contain information about class projects and activities throughout the year. They are a great way to get parents involved in their child's education.

Remember to keep it simple! Your pages do not have to be as extensive or complex as the examples above. Preferrably, they could even be the beginning of a practical, viable site that you can use in your classroom. 
 

2. Use this checklist as a quide:

    • The layout of each page should be well organized, using tables only when necessary.
    • Hyperlinks to other pages and external sites should work.
    • The principals of good Web page design should be evident.
    • The pages should demonstrate your ability to use images, tables, hyperlinks, email links, fonts and colours effectively.
    • The content should be realistic and accurate.


3. When your project is complete, you can submit it for assessment by uploading it to the SCDSB server. In special cases, you may also:

a) email the components for assessment
b) save and submit the project on a floppy disk or a CD
